EEC06 – This is a cross between 2 of Thailand’s best Cattleyas, one red and one yellow. This type of crossing is usually made to improve the size and shape of the red flower. Yellow coloration is usually recessive and yields to the color of the other parent.
In this case, although such a cross might produce some yellows and art shades, I would expect most of them to be 6″+ dark reds and burgundies.
