Rlc Goldenzelle is for me, the pinnacle of large Cattleya breeding, using the famous C. Horace ‘Maxima’ as a parent to provide wonderful shape and large sized flowers. And the ‘Lemon Chiffon’ cultivar is maybe the most well-known with its 5 1/2″ bright yellow flowers and a red streak on the lip, the flowers held high and not requiring staking and have great substance. Truly a plant that should be in the collection of any serious Cattleya grower.
These plants were cloned in Hawaii, which provides better overall quality than most other parts of the world.
These plants are established in 2″ pots and are probably 2-3 years from blooming.
