One of Carter and Holmes most famous crosses but has been out of production until now with this new cloning.
Awarded in 2016 with the following judging notes: Three flowers well-presented on one inflorescence; sepals and petals deep ruby red; petals ruffled; lip deep crimson, eyes rust red distally, gold proximally, throat veined deep burgundy, margins ruffled; column white, flushed pink; substance firm; texture velvety. Flowers are 5″ wide and as you can see, very deep in color.
Established in 3.5″ pots (repotted 8/2024).
