Cattleya trianae 4n is native to all 3 cordilleras of the Andes in Columbia, makes huge lavender flowers up to 8″, and is used often in Cattleya hybridization. This tetraploid version should be especially great in all ways, but especially for breeding.
These plants are well-established in 2″ pots and are growing vigorously (see photo taken 6-2026).
