Very desirable tetraploid version of a wonderfully-scented hard to find an alba Cattleya species. C. leopoldii gets pretty tall and has nice clusters of flowers in the spring.
This is an alba variety, meaning the flowers are devoid of much of leopoldii’s dark coloration, and since it’s carrying a tetraploid number of chromosomes, these should be bigger and better in every way!
Plants are well-established in 3.5″ pots and should be 2-3 years from blooming.
