Blc Sylvia Fry ‘Supreme’ x Rlc Shang Ding Red Dragon, a new and exciting Cattleya hybrid combines the exceptional flower size and full, rounded form of Blc. Sylvia Fry ‘Supreme’ with the rich, saturated coloration of Rlc. Shang Ding Red Dragon.
We anticipate large, beautifully shaped flowers in shades of deep rose, magenta, raspberry-red, and reddish-purple, possibly with contrasting darker lips and golden-yellow throats. Both parents contribute excellent flower substance and broad petals, making this a promising cross for producing impressive, showy blooms.
As these are unbloomed seedlings, individual flower colors and characteristics will vary.
Established seedlings growing in 2-inch pots.
This cross could produce some very attractive results, particularly if you’re looking for large, full, richly colored Cattleyas with scent. Both parents have excellent characteristics to contribute.
