Rlc. Radiant Ember ‘Volcano Queen’

Rlc. Radiant Ember ‘Volcano Queen’ is a striking Cattleya hybrid with the potential for brilliant, fiery coloration and impressive floral presentation. Its name suggests the glowing reds, oranges, and warm sunset tones that make these richly colored Cattleya hybrids so desirable.

Blc Mem. Crispin Rosales, the pod parent of this hybrid, might be my favorite of all lavender Cattleyas, so given the parentage, the color, and the shape of the flowers, I absolutely had to have these!

Like other large-flowered Cattleya hybrids, it appreciates bright, filtered light, good air circulation, and a well-drained growing medium. Allow the potting mix to approach dryness between waterings.

An appealing addition to any Cattleya collection, particularly for growers who appreciate vibrant colors and dramatic blooms.

These are very vigorous plants growing in 2″ pots (see photo).
