This is a select and awarded clone of the summer-blooming C. maxima species. C. maxima is a South American Cattleya species known as easy to grow, which has a spectacular veined lip. (see http://www.orchidspecies.com/catleyamaxima.htm for more information about this species.) These are blooming-size plants in 5″ or 6″ pots that will bloom each summer.
