Stanhopea jenischiana x inodora

Description

Stanhopeas are interesting plants with big flowers that emerge from the bottom of the plant. This unnamed hybrid is a primary hybrid between 2 similar but slightly different large-flowered Stanhopea species. The flower photo is of Stan. jenischiana. The plant photo was taken in 10/2020 and the plants should bloom in about 2 years. These plants should be repotted into baskets so that the flowers can grow out the bottom. Note that these plants are well-established and have been growing in their current pots for a year.
