Description
Bc Mt. Hood (Rlc. Déesse x C. Claris) is a classic large ‘pink’ Cattleya, which was awarded an AM/AOS in the 60s and is rarely found in collections today. The ‘Orchidglade’ clone was awarded by Jones and Scully in 1966 and has a somewhat frilly lip with wonderfully overlapped round petals and a throat with golden eyes and veining. It’s been used extensively in hybridizing creating memorable pinks including Rlc Mount Sylvan, Rlc November Bride, and Rlc Pink Empress.
I divided a large plant of this recently and I am offering blooming size plants in 6″ or 6.5″ pots with at least 3 growths and a new growth .
